Paul Walker was weer helemaal in zijn nopjes in de rol van straatracer Brian terwijl nieuwkomers Tyrese Gibson en Ludacris waardevolle toevoegingen zijn. Ondanks dat het acteerwerk iets minder van belang is, passen deze personen prima in de wereld van geldsmokkel en illegale straatraces.
