Most Marvel movies I will happily rewatch when they come on the box, but this one I’m not sure I’d have the strength to sit through again. Recensie

It strays significantly into Spielberg’s Ready Player One, especially towards the end of the movie. But I personally found the closest resonance was with Peter Weir’s peerless The Truman Show. Zac Snyder’s glossy zombie flick is a valiant attempt, and it has its moments. The story neatly blends a zombie apocalypse with an Oceans heist movie. You even get some stirring Die Hard-style vault opening music! But a weak script and a flabby running time make this rather hard work to get through in one sitting. Recensie
