It is truly a beautiful watch but it is also definitely the first part of a multi-movie franchise. We can't wait to see what comes next, but wish it could stand alone too which, unfortunately, it can't. Review
The Last Duel is a compelling and difficult watch but one that needs to be seen. Even though we've come a long way since those days, some aspects do still hit home in the #MeToo world we live in. Review
Think some of the best fight choreography seen in House of Flying Daggers and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and add in a layer of Marvel modernism and you’ve got what the Shang-Chi team has delivered. Review
It’s an original story that can stand on its own but thanks to its origins in the gaming genre... Review
The Suicide Squad is an enjoyable boom-boom, bang-bang comic book movie that while isn’t perfect, certainly makes for a fun day out to the movies. Review
An excellent horror but suffers from a hefty running time. Review
The essence of the film is captured brilliantly and while it’s not completely different, it’s not totally the same either. Review
The kids will love it as it’s talking animals and it will likely make bucket loads of cash at the box office. But, it’s not as good as the original. Review
Pokemon Detective Pikachu is a fun film for all the family. It’s definitely one for the kids but the writers did a great job including a few jokes and nods for the adults too. Review
It’s not a good film and isn’t even so bad it’s good. Just plain, ol’ bad. Review
Avengers Endgame makes you laugh, cry, have a panic attack, hide behind your hands, punch your fist in the air and make you want to stand on your feet and applaud, all before the film gets close to its conclusion. Review
All in all, Shazam! is brilliant fun and stays true to the DC ethos. The humour may be cringey at times, but it’s the most modern and apt superhero film. Review
Had the unholy task of trying to match a classic dear to so many people’s hearts and it does a very good job at it. Review
It will bring out every emotion physically possible and will do it with a foot-tapping beat. Review
A highly entertaining mystery caper that is so stylish you’ll be buying Vogue immediately afterwards. Review
It’s a nice relief from the intensity of Infinity War and leaves us wanting more Ant-Man, more Wasp and more Luis. Review
This is a film for the fans and not only that, but it still has that stage musical feel to it... Review
It is just as funny, just as strong narratively with great action sequences and a stellar cast. Review
You’ll laugh as much as you would in the likes of Guardians, but you’ll also find yourself bawling your eyes out too. Review
Is the type of monster flick that’s brilliantly woeful. You will laugh. You will facepalm. But you will be entertained. Review
May not have a strong ending, but the twists and turns and execution are still enough for us to recommend it. Review
Has certainly broken out of the video game to film curse and even does so in a way that pays homage to its roots. Review
