Every part of this experience is absolutely beautiful. From the visuals to the story and vocal performances, all of it coalesces wonderfully to craft a film we’re going to be hearing more about come Oscar time. Review
What an absolute pile of garbage. Anne Hathaway is overacting and chewing so much scenery that even her expanded jaw is stuff full of it. Review
From a witty and sharp script and a killer lead performance from the talented Katherine Langford, this is a film that is off the wall and out of its mind. Review
I’m the target audience for this. Someone who loves the romantic comedy. If that’s not you then perhaps stay away from this one. With its charms and wit it made me really like it. Review
This is equal parts funny and touching. A film whose central friendship hits the typical spots. Review
This, like most of the live-action remakes from the house of mouse, is an absolute bore. Review
As I said to director Christin Baker this is a film that has all the hallmarks of romcom cheesiness and I’m living for that! Review
Accessible and fun is the most I can say about this particular film. Review
Funny and to the point. That’s the mark of a comedy that’s doing its job. Review
Damn it was some great stuff. An emotional journey of fathers and sons. Review
With a beautiful eye behind the lens and a bit of a heartwarming tale in front of it this is a rather surprisingly good picture. Review
This gets it and handles even the most delicate of topics with absolute class. Review
While simultaneously refusing to fall all the way into the bindings of a venture like this none of it goes all the way. To that, it’s a situation where the half measures worked in the director’s favor. Review
Iannucci always brings a tongue that’s firmly planted in his cheek. Here he does it again when telling this tale. Dev Patel is a fantastic actor. He once again brings it. Review
While it is not totally devoid of merit it’s a mostly shallow exercise in excessive stupidity. Review
Narratively it does not present itself with anything you haven’t seen before. Review
Structurally everything is a bit messy and predictable but then again you don’t really roll into something like this for the unique storytelling. Review
This film is dumber and less focused than the first one. Review
I’m unsure if it was supposed to be this bad or if that’s an unintended consequence of the writing and direction. Review
This is a mediocre film that had aspirations of greatness and just never got there. Review
It has nothing to offer. Nothing that some other movie of a similar theme cannot deliver…and better. Review
This documentary is pretty standard fair. It’s the subject here that’s going to either grip you or lose you. Review
It’s a comedy that’s certainly flawed but funny enough in spots to hold attention. Review
