The Equalizer 3 does feel like a little bit of a low rent version of the original, but the savagery of the violence and the gorgeous Italian setting go a long way to skipping over the budgetary constraints. Review
A whip smart, hilarious piece that sends up the theater community in a way that only one who loves it dearly ever could. Review
Haunted Mansion feels like a lovely throwback to the family fun Disney films of old. Review
Margot Robbie is fantastic as Barbie, and the film features a winning turn from Ryan Gosling, but it is an overly crowded film that loses its message in a muddled third act that never lives up to its potential. Review
Horrific CGI, a plot that makes little sense, and a deeply unsatisfying conclusion, all delivered only a couple of weeks after one of the greatest superhero movies of all time, makes for another disappointing DC adventure. Review
Elemental has a pretty poor mcguffin, and a bare bones message delivered without nuance, but the visuals and the heartwarming romance make this one to watch. Review
This photo-realistic fantasy loses much of the vibrancy, life and whimsy of the animated version. Review
A loud, proud, fast and furious start to the finale of this franchise. Review
John Farnham: Finding The Voice will be a compelling watch for fans of the man, fans of the Australian music scene, and everyday punters who love You’re The Voice alike. Review
Traumatised is the only way to describe the feeling of leaving this terrible movie. Review
A distinct lack of actual book references in this film. Review
The MCU returns to its former prowess, with a fun, funny and emotionally powerful installment of our favorite wacky outer space heroes. Review
A mile a minute, super slick, The Innocent is a rip roaring time in the cinema. Review
Sisi and I is a gorgeously shot, off kilter historical romance that plays with artistry that it never fully achieves. Review
This film is a hell of a lot of fun, and a fantastic time in the cinema. Review
Bland, boring and completely devoid of redeeming features, this undoubtedly expensive cash grab can be summarily defined by its sequence of cameos: redundant, boring, nonsensical and completely without chemistry or believability. Review
This chaotic comedy throws you for tonal whiplash throughout, creating a deeply confusing, oft boring but occasionally fun film. Review
Rusty is a wise-cracking, moped riding, demon destroying exorcist in this romp that is as enjoyable as it is middling. Review
Allelujah is a completely baffling exercise; blowing up an otherwise poorly constructed and disinteresting light ensemble comedy set amidst a geriatric ward by veering hard into serial killer territory, before breaking the fourth wall in a dumbfounding piece of propaganda. Review
The Super Mario Bros avoids disaster, but doesn’t bring anything new to the tale in this all too familiar animated film. Review
Air is the sort of simple, wholesome content that - when done well, and it is done very well here - makes an impact. Review
John Wick: Chapter 4 is definitely more in the vein of 2 and Parabellum than it is the first, franchise making movie. But it ups those two comparators easily; delivering a fitting end to the franchise that is brutal, bloody, and OTT, while continuing to push the boundaries when it comes to action in movies. Review
You’ll want to roll the dice on this one. A rollicking good time, that - against all odds - is very funny and a lot of fun. Review
