Alien and Aliens may well remain the series’ benchmarks (and perhaps always will) but Romulus is a thrillingly gruesome horror sci-fi cinema experience that adores all others – and we do mean ALL – in the series. Review
In A Violent Nature is a distinctive and quietly chilling slasher, that is as gruesome as it is thoughtful. Review
France brought the fire in one hell of PLE atmosphere. Review
A film by and for fans of the source material but with enough generous construction to appeal to a wider crowd. Review
The Best in the World is back in WWE at their best Premium Live Event of 2023... Review
Crown Jewel offers little in way of surprises but was a show with many things to like:... Review
Fastlane was no affront or anything but was so clearly a filler event. Review
A good party in spite of it ending on a sour note. Review
Money in the Bank delivered with most of its marquee matches but had a forgettable undercard which hampered the momentum and did not feel quite as earth-shaking as an event on this scale should. Review
Night of Champions was a slight step down from Backlash but benefitted from a long overdue cathartic main event that saw KO/Zayn get their win over The Bloodline, while some of the undercard had some bright spots, and a new World Heavyweight title got off to a good start. Review
Believer is a worthwhile entry into the lore and I am intrigued as to where the trilogy will go from here, even more so now. Review
The Nun II improves upon the first film offering a fun pick n’ mix of big screen horror silliness... Review
Blue Beetle is a vibrant big hearted treat that is rightly proud of its heritage. Review
Bizarre, funny, and filled with clear love for multiple eras of DC characters. Review
This is a script filled with delights, not just filled because of its energetic fantasy heist caper, easter egg surprises and questing thrills, but moreover the rather staggeringly emotional core to its story. Review
An atmospheric horror, with many familiar beats and an overdone finale but with the benefit of a great lead performance. Review
Destined to collect some serious coin due to its love of Nintendo’s creation and its audience…and fun of course! Review
John Wick Chapter 4 maintains this all time action series’ impeccably high standards... Review
But you see that is the real killer, worse than any inconsistencies and unpleasant characters, Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey should really be so much more entertaining than it actually is. In fact, for all the wood chippers, sledgehammers and face-gobbling, the film is kind of just very ho-hum and bland. Review
This was fantastically delivered slasher entertainment, awash in horror movie references for fans of the genre, and which excelled thanks to its chosen “core four”. Review
Creed III is gripping, exhilarating, hard-hitting entertainment that shows that the hits may be very familiar indeed but, almost five decades on, that underdog story, blast of triumphant music at the right moments, and dramatic punch, all still work their big screen magic, and are no less rousing all these years on! Review
At times a drug comedy, at others a gruesome nature attacks horror/thriller, and occasionally a Carpenter-esque scored slasher starring a baloo on blow, this thing is quite the trip. Review
