Zac Snyder’s glossy zombie flick is a valiant attempt, and it has its moments. The story neatly blends a zombie apocalypse with an Oceans heist movie. You even get some stirring Die Hard-style vault opening music! But a weak script and a flabby running time make this rather hard work to get through in one sitting. Recensie

I’d mentally set myself up to really hate this one. But the opposite turned out to be true. As a comedy it made me laugh like a drain at times, and although some of the violence went somewhat over the top for me, I thought it to be a fine summer popcorn blockbuster (but very much for adults).
