For fans of Nic Cage, this movie is still well worth a watch as Count Dracula even though he’s not the main character. I just wish the movie deserved his and Hoult’s committed performances. Overall I was left wanting more as the filmmakers squander so many opportunities to make Renfield a horror-comedy classic. Recensie
I certainly count this as one of the most memorable dog movies, one that’s as heartwarming as it is uplifting. Recensie
It won’t be hyperbolic to say this is one of the best movies of the year so far. I walk away feeling inspired and entertained in equal measure. Recensie
Ultimately this movie is so formulaic and quintessentially mediocre, and it also makes another irritating faux pas of wasting its talented cast. Recensie
The Good House is not perfect but I wish Hollywood would make more of this type of dramedies with seasoned actors. Recensie
It’s slow going at first but I was enamored by the story of an underdog who dreams of life in outer space. Recensie
This is perhaps one of my fave Sandler roles so far–he balances his self-deprecating sense of humor with genuine emotions to get you to be truly invested in his character’s journey. Recensie
There are moments that made me laugh out loud, but it’s uneven, unfocused, and at times ridden by cliches. Still, it was amusing enough to warrant a recommendation... Recensie
It was amusing but tonally off and I was left scratching my head the whole time just why in the world would David Harbour and Anthony Mackie sign up for this. Recensie
I never thought I’d even be interested in watching a D&D adaptation so imagine my astonishment that I end up loving it THIS much. If this one proves to be a smashing success,... Recensie
Tetris has become one of the most fun and satisfying movies of the year so far. I enjoyed it immensely from start to finish, it’s definitely something that I don’t mind watching again. Recensie
This is an uplifting, feel-good movie. I enjoyed the movie and Sally Hawkins’ performance as a rather awkward but deeply sympathetic person. Recensie
Fans of the franchise should have a lot of fun with this latest chapter, bursting with kinetic energy throughout, accompanied by a rollicking score by Tyler Bates and Joel J. Richard. Recensie
Despite the flaws though, I think Fury of the Gods is pretty decent overall and managed to get a few laughs out of me to make it worth seeing on the big screen. So this sequel may not be as good as the satisfying crowd-pleaser of the original, but certainly is not an abomination the way some critics made it out to be. Recensie
For fans of the spy genre, I say it’s still worth a watch, but go in with tempered expectations that the series doesn’t quite live up to its full potential, despite the stellar cast and high production values. Recensie
65 has lots of potential especially when they’ve got a bona fide lead in Adam Driver as the lead, but the lackluster direction and script made this one pretty underwhelming. The plethora of plot holes and head-scratching scenes don’t help either. Recensie
It’s a remarkable debut and a handsomely-mounted production despite the small indie budget. Recensie
It’s barely 1.5 hours long but it just went on forever, I was actually more interested in the ancient tales told during a few scenes at the dig. Such a waste of talent and an exotic location! Recensie
I didn’t realize the poverty and all the struggles before he finally got signed by the Rams, but it’s his love story with his wife Brenda that’s just as inspiring as his football journey. Recensie
I’d knock a half a point for Patrick Wilson‘s smugness that even John Bradley‘s humorous quips can’t save. Recensie
Everything about this is so clichéd and simply ludicrous it’s not even worth watching on a plane. It’s another drivel featuring Dwayne Johnson as another stolid, banal hero. Recensie
Love this beautiful, bittersweet love story during wartime. Recensie
The chemistry between LaKeith Stanfield and Issa Rae is swoon-worthy, but the story is just as intriguing. I love that the parallel love story of Rae’s mother told in flashback is equally beguiling, so you get TWO beautiful love stories in one movie. Recensie
