The music, sets, choreography and cast are superb but Blunt is no Andrews, as marvelous as she is onscreen. Given what we have, it’s probably the best outcome for a sequel Disney could have asked for.

It looks marvellous and I can see Ralph Breaks the Internet making a squillion dollars for the empire, but this doesn’t make it a great film, just a bright and colourful one.

There are highs and there are lows but it is real, it is personal, and it is so heartfelt it hasn’t left me since viewing it.

It pushes boundaries, re-writes animation laws and throws so much colour at you that when you don’t pass out and reach for the sunnies you truly realise its greatness.

Climax will not be for everyone, for me it is worth it for the opening dance sequence alone. The music of the film is sensational as is the cast and hellish depraved decline of the characters while off their minds on too much acid. Gaspar Noé is an exceptional artist with film as his canvas...

Creed II literally adds nothing new to the franchise. It rehashes the same storylines, old characters and old issues. But it does it bloody well.

Littered with pastiche cliche of lazy action movies and the story’s major plot holes need to see someone smacked over the head with the giant continuity cane.

I thought it was eons more entertaining and with more purpose than the first film. For the first time ever I am actually interested to see where this story heads.

A cinephiles’ movie. It is a few edits from perfect cinema but will repulse, terrify and confuse viewers.

Worth it alone for Bradley Cooper singing, his performance and partnership with one of the most vocally talented people to walk the earth is all bonus.

The tense pacing, disasters and determination added with The Gosling as Neil Armstrong are all that is needed for a perfect film for me.

It was a tie for me between who stole the movie; Annette Bening or Elisabeth Moss.

The casting is impressive...

While the casting and characters are wonderful people you want to spend time with the story itself is too covered in saccharine sweetness to convey anything meaningful and long lasting.

Three performances in BEAST took my breath away. Jessie Bukley as Moll, Johnny Flynn as Pacal and Geraldine James as Moll’s mum, Hilary.

It is a powerful movie with a deep heart but told in a way that is easy to swallow and lined with fantastic humour.

The Meg is a travesty, seriously rewatch Jaws again.

Laughs in the face of common place and done-before, it just throws its star out of anything moving and hopes he survives. Who doesn’t love that?!?!

A fun reunion with the old cast and a wonderful journey with the flashback cast.

The director and actor do not deserve death threats, they deserve piles of awards and praise at a film that perfectly delivers a themed look into grief, tragedy, war and family.

A wonderful final movie for one of the best kid/dog duos of all time.

The fifth in the franchise and the worst of the bunch, it is an insult to the original Jurassic Park...

Its low budget look at technology, one possible future, and AI sentience is a brilliant journey back into the genre that doesn’t avoid cliche, it integrates and embellishes them.

I expected a lot more after this long but it was still an amazing outing being back with some of my favourite superheroes...
