De film is sowieso onderhoudend te noemen, want vanaf de eerste minuut is er een spanning aanwezig die de kijker doet verlangen naar bevrijdende onthullingen. Te danken aan het sterke acteerwerk, maar ook aan de naargeestige soundtrack die het mysterie extra kracht bijzet. Nu ontkomt Anvari er niet aan om de horrorclichés te vermijden, maar de lugubere fragmenten en de zogenaamde ‘jump scares’ zijn zorgvuldig getimed.
