Terms and conditions
By using veboli.com and any other site, application, API or embedded content owned or operated by Veboli (the Service), you accept and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (the Terms):
General use
The website is available to all visitors. However, some features are restricted to having an account or a subscription.
Account
Some features are only available if visitors create an account. An account is free to create. An account is intended for one person and one person may only have one account. You can delete your account via the settings.
Subscription
Some features are only available with a paid subscription. A subscription can be canceled within 14 days. Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel your subscription before the end of the current period.
Personal information
With an account, users can add personal information to the website's database. For example, date of birth, ratings, reviews, and lists. This information is public. Users can also send private messages that can theoretically be viewed by the owner of the Service. However, this will only happen in the event of complaints by the recipient of a message or in the event of concrete suspicion of abuse.
Privacy
The email address you provide when creating an account is permanently stored in our database to identify your created account. Passwords are stored in our database using encryption, they cannot be retrieved or read.
Cookies
Cookies may be placed for the benefit of the Service.
Behavoir
You must be polite and respectful of the opinions of others. You may not post unwanted, aggressive, suggestive, or otherwise inappropriate comments directed at another member of the Service. You may not use the Service to promote, express, or incite hatred, violence, discrimination, or intolerance, including based on race, ethnicity, religion, belief, political affiliation, age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics. We reserve the right to include conduct outside of the Service in our moderation process. You may not use the Service (or encourage others to use the Service) to create multiple accounts, mislead other users, disrupt discussions, circumvent account bans, manipulate the operation of the Service, influence consensus, engage in orchestrated attacks on films or filmmakers, or post spam. We reserve the right to remove user content.
No malicious use
You agree to access the Service through the interface we provide. You may not use the Service for malicious purposes, or abuse, harass, threaten, intimidate, or impersonate another user of the Service or a Veboli employee. You may not request or attempt to obtain personal or identifying information from another member of the Service. You may not mislead the Service’s support or moderation staff, including by submitting false or malicious reports about other members or their content, or by sending (or encouraging others to send) multiple reports about the same content or issue. Such behavior may result in action being taken against your account.
No illegal use
You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or post any information that violates any confidentiality obligation, copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights of any person. We do not permit content or activities that sexually exploit or endanger children. If we become aware of any apparent child abuse, we will report it, in accordance with applicable law. If you come across such material on our platform, please report it immediately to our moderation team via the relevant reporting option.
Suspension or termination of accounts
If you fail to comply with the Terms, we may suspend or terminate your account.
Technical support and troubleshooting
We do our best to resolve any technical issues with the Service as quickly as possible. However, we are not liable for any damage suffered as a result of partial or complete failure of the Service or technical failures.
Applicable law
Any agreement between the parties shall be governed exclusively by Dutch law. Any disputes between the parties shall be settled in accordance with Dutch law and jurisprudence.
