Anything for Jackson heeft als opzet een komische horrorfilm te zijn over hoe een opa en oma wat te ver gaan om hun overleden kleinzoon terug te krijgen. Jammer genoeg weten de makers niet volledig goed door te pakken op dit gegeven. Dat neemt niet weg dat dit gewoon een leuke horrorfilm is geworden welke grotendeels gedragen wordt door hoofdrolspelers Julian Richings en Sheila McCarthy. Lees meer

There’s a clean simplicity in the storytelling that’s appealing, although Act 3 is not nearly as clearly defined or interesting as the balance of the film. But maybe it’s not the resolution the film is after, or really the audience. It’s the story of this sweet couple, mad with grief, that’ll get you. Lees meer
