All things considered, Monged is an enjoyable watch with many positives to take from it. Ireland is a hub for emerging talent and I don’t doubt that many involved in the film will come to the front in years to come. It’s a great insight to a mad weekend and how friendships can develop from nothing but maintains its heart throughout. Review

Bone Tomahawk fails at being a horror western. It could have been an interesting western drama or maybe even a thriller if THAT scene had been done differently. The majority of the film is too slow and boring to be a horror but they do achieve the incentive of traumatising the entire audience. Review

All in all, great performances aside, Freeheld is more hot mess for something that is such a hot topic which is such a shame. Review

The fans of the classic Dad’s Army will enjoy the film as it captures the essence of the show with a new cast and a brand new story. It a lovely tribute to the original cast... Review

Trumbo is a wonderful film set in a terrible time in Hollywood history. It’s well written and performed, for the most part, and as much as you may feel annoyed at the unjustness of it all, you do enjoy it. Review

It is hands down the best film I have seen in a long time and I predict it to follow in Argo’s footsteps and take the top award at this year’s Academy Awards. Review

The Hateful Eight is a bitterly disappointing tale of two halves. One half is excruciatingly boring and the other is all the action crammed into an hour. Review

Victor Frankenstein is an interesting take on a classic tale. It may have thrown a wobbler in the middle third but overall it’s an enjoyable watch with a performance from Radcliffe that is better than most people might have expected from him. Review

He Named me Malala is a beautiful documentary and with the life that she is living, I don’t doubt that there will be a part two at some point. Review

Brooklyn is a beautiful film with stellar performances all around and is certainly not one to be missed. Review

For those of you who know his tale it’ll be a lovely trip down memory lane. For those of us who aren’t familiar with Rory and Panti’s story, it’s a filthy gorgeous insight to the life of the man who likes to dress up as a “giant woman” and their journey to becoming The Queen of Ireland. Review

If you’re looking for something to do with your children during the mid-term break, then Hotel Transylvania 2 will be a great option and the grown ups can just take a nap. Review

All in all, The Intern isn’t something to run out the door and rush to see, but it is an interesting take on life after retirement and how sometimes, the old way can be the best way. Review

Ricki and the Flash is one disappointment after another and full of mistakes and questions throughout. Review

It’s slick, sophisticated, suave, and charming but isn’t lacking in the action department either. It’s a great balance between action and comedy with everyone on board giving it their all. Review

It’s a funnier version of the first with not as many of the “serious talks”. Review
