This film is funny, quirky and downright great. Kaley Wheless’ coming out as a future huge star has arrived! Review
Had the story and characters been developed more, this would have been a much better and far more interesting film. Review
This is a film that will likely please the masses. Those looking for good technique will be sadly abandoned. Review
Not only is it a sort of look back at the history of the genre it’s done so lovingly. Review
What a charming piece of cinema! Not only is this love letter to classic Hollywood but a fantastic tribute to absolute legends. Review
Once again they make it easy to root for their protagonist and at 78 mins it is a quick and easy watch. Review
Overall it’s just an okay documentary. One that does SOME things well but is not nearly up to the quality of other documentary films screened at the Sundance Film Festival. Review
Much like the world of the movie, everything WAS awesome…now it isn’t. Instead, it’s just…meh. Review
Narratively speaking this thing is a mess. It’s a really fun mess. A really pretty mess. But a damn mess. Review
Nothing of merit to speak of. This is a bad movie. Asa Butterfield’s career is one of the missed opportunities and bad films. Review
Throughout the entirety of the film, I couldn’t help but think to myself just how boring this was. Brie Larson has literally nothing to work with in this script. She does her absolute best. She’s quite electric as Danvers. Review
If the structure were tighter and better told this would be an even more exciting idea. As it stands it merely wastes it’s unique animation on a story that’s a tad boring. Review
This is an opportunity wasted. All style and ruined substance Robert Rodriguez continues to be pomp of no circumstance. Review
I can for sure recommend this. Great film when you just want to have a fantastic time at the movie, or even something that you could really take your whole family to. Review
It has several issues and I loved most of the narrative. Its message was good but often time it got too jumbled and lost. Review
The script and narrative are ridiculous and borderline stupid. There’s a ton of great actors doing terrible work here. Review
Hermione Corfield is absolutely awesome as our lead performance here. Looking at the script we see a film that unravels like a labyrinth of lies, deceit, and drugs. Review
There is scant a thing to like here. If you do manage to get through the film without falling asleep you aren’t in for much of a ride. Review
This isn’t a good film in the least bit. Bel Powley does what she can and sadly she isn’t the issue she’s just let down by the crap material. Review
Director Salomón Askenazi (shoutout to him!) makes some absolutely nutty decisions with the script (which he wrote) and most of that works to a spectacular degree. Review
Skip this. If you want a solid documentary, go with Won’t You Be My Neighbor? or Midnight Family. It isn’t a bad film... Review
