Has a few cool ideas behind it, but feels lazy all around.
Cheesy 80’s fun that went on to spawn a far superior sequel.
The film is uplifting (even if it can be forced at points) and seems genuinely happy all the way through.
Aside from awful production values and wasted locations, the acting is beyond bad from everybody.
The visuals are fantastically original and there’s a definite level of excitement to keep everyone glued to the screen.
It can get a tad too sappy in parts, but stellar performances and original writing make this one well worth recommending.
A bland flick with a couple of slightly noteworthy performances and a few mild laughs to be had...

A hilarious, deliciously insane anthology that puts the dark in dark comedy.
A colorful and, at times, funny Pixar adventure that mostly sticks by a well-worn by-the-numbers sort of plot.
The acting and production values aren’t exactly good, but the writing and overarching message make up for those faults.
A disturbing film about depressing issues with an ugly view on the world.
A mediocre film in the first half that turns into a great film during the second half.
The talented cast lends a lot of the quality to just another otherwise standard, tame prison movie.
Not perfect or necessarily great, but still a pleasant surprise.
