Met Alone neemt regisseur John Hyams zijn kijkers serieus door niet teveel met clichés te werken. Sterker nog hij zorgt voor een intellectueel gelijkwaardige strijd tussen de vrouw, welke geen slachtoffer wil zijn, en haar belager. Het slot vliegt ietwat uit de bocht, maar zal sommige ook die voldoening geven na een zeer sterke opbouw. Alone is een aanrader voor iedereen die een goede thriller kan waarderen. Lees meer
