It was a very believable sequel to Joker. But was it entertaining? Engaging, for sure – but would I call it an entertaining film? I just don’t know! Review
The heart of what makes this film work is that it is a legacy unto itself that takes characters we have loved for decades and gives them a new storyline but is grounded in the same insanity that we have come to expect. There are twists and turns and crooked floors and musical numbers and nods to classic horrors and just a lot of bold risky choices by Burton. Review
Deadpool & Wolverine is weak on plot but thick and meaty and juicy and moist and sexy and fun and funny and violent everywhere else! Review
I didn’t hate IF, but I was expecting to be more entertained, and I sometimes wonder if Krasinski doesn’t get more play in Hollywood given his clout and his connections. Review
What elevates The Fall Guy from just a fun movie to an incredible piece of work is how Leitch masterfully weaves the complexities of working on Metalstorm with the plot and drive of the overall product. Review
I won’t spoil anything here, because I happen to think that is what makes FNAF stand out in the annals of horror. So, go see it for yourself! Review
I was expecting an experience, but what I got was just a movie, albeit an incredibly well-shot and well-acted movie but the story lacked something never captured on screen. Review
With these Spider-Man movies, we are expecting to be blown away by the music and graphics and just overall delivery of every aspect of the film. And I have to say I was not disappointed. Review
Not only was this movie powerful, it was incredibly well-crafted and shot. Review
I found the name of the film to be more intriguing than the final product. It really fell flat for me. Review
While there could have been much more story and time spent on the titular Chevalier, the film is an enjoyable watch and a compelling historical drama. Review
Honestly most of the film felt mundane and slow. I can’t help but feel like this was the director’s intention, however. Review
Batman: Gotham by Gaslight is a must-see for fans of Batman and steampunk as well as anyone who appreciates a well-crafted action-adventure story. The film’s unique setting, engaging storyline, and thrilling action sequences make it a worthy entry in the Batman franchise. Review
With so many wonderful characters, layered rich stories, and brilliant, engaging, and hilarious storytelling, D&D: Honor Among Thieves is a must-see! Don’t roll the dice and skip on this one, folks!! Review
Spinning Gold is a heartwarming story about success, failure, and getting back up again. If you are willing to go to the movies and hear a story, Spinning Gold is a fun time at the movies. Review
A thrilling, sexy, fun throwback that shifts gears from the humorless Craig era. Review
While the films visuals are remarkable, the Na’vi characters are beginning to feel overused almost making it difficult to distinguish who anyone is and why we care about them. Review
In addition to being well written, Women Talking is shot beautifully. Review
Perhaps that is the best thing about Devotion, it made me want to know more about Jesse Brown. I just wish the movie had told me more about him and not squandered so many opportunities. Review
I really enjoyed M3GAN, but I felt we barely scratched the silicone surface of what her character could be. Review
If you want a thrilling horror that will fuck you up for life, check out Barbarian! Review
Bandit is not a crime thriller, per say, as nothing really thrilling happens, but it is also not boring or plodding. The tone is light-hearted and jovial, and even the police task force formed to hunt down the mastermind has a genuine feel. Review
Sadly, Beast won’t leave much of a scar on your psyche. But it’s not a bad time at the theater, either. Review
With The Gray Man, I don’t think the Russo Brothers had a freakin’ clue what tone they were shooting for – but there was plenty of shooting, I guess. Review
