Despite the gorgeous animation and colorful visuals, overall it lacks enchantment and that magical touch I expect from this studio. Review
The tone is lighthearted despite some serious subject matter, the humor doesn’t always work and at times comes across as silly and over-the-top. Review
A quiet reflective drama with a slow, deliberate pace that’s far from boring. Review
The Blue Angels is one of the best aviation films that’s thrilling, entertaining, and educational. Review
Miller knows how to stage action scenes, which makes Furiosa a thrill ride with jaw-dropping action from start to finish. Review
To say this is an important film is an understatement. An absolute must-see not just for Australians but every citizen of the world. Review
Despite the flaws, I still had a good time watching Statham brutally beat up and maim a bunch of goons + those unlucky enough to be on his bad side. Review
This is a prime example of a film that uses advanced VFX and filmmaking techniques to enhance storytelling for a spectacular cinematic experience. The depictions of the apes and their world are incredibly realistic. Review
The Fall Guy is a fun popcorn flick to kick off the summer movie season with a jolt of adrenaline. Review
Some people might see some similarities to another indie film Aftersun which is a father-daughter relationship, but I find this one to be much more emotionally resonant. Review
I enjoyed this movie tremendously, it’s engaging, sweet, and genuinely funny from start to finish. Review
I find this one to be disconcerting and fails to connect in a profound way. Still, it was worth a look just for Seydoux alone who remains watchable no matter which period she’s in. Review
Thelma is a riotous crowd-pleaser, one of the best comedy heist flicks I’ve seen in a while. It’s thigh-snappingly funny but also heartwarming. Review
While the movie is not perfect, there are plenty of things to love and appreciate in The Movie Teller. Review
Ritchie’s underrated The Covenant has a solemn weight to it, but this action romp is more akin to Rocknrolla and Snatch, but fortunately more enjoyable than Operation Fortune. Review
The Greatest Hits doesn’t always hit the right notes but it’s enjoyable enough to pass for a weekend viewing that makes you reminisce on one’s favorite song that holds a particularly nostalgic power. Review
Props to Buscemi for tackling such a deceptively simple story with such raw emotional candor and poignancy. Review
The Beautiful Game isn’t impervious to some schmaltzy, cliched moments and at over 2 hours long, it could use a much tighter editing. Overall though, this is an uplifting sports drama with a redemptive message and that friendhip is much more valuable than winning. Review
Colman and Buckley are wonderful to watch as always, but Vasan’s performance is memorable as well. For a movie with so many nasty words being written and spoken, there’s benevolence and grace that reverberate in this movie and it also ends on a hopeful note that leaves a sweet aftertaste. Review
It’s one heck of a story that makes for a wildly entertaining watch. Review
The movie can be silly and corny at times, but Nicholson is so hilarious and the writing so snappy it’s just so darn entertaining. Review
A coming-of-age story mixed with a right-to-die theme which feels a bit unbalanced at times, but the film manages to be quite engaging despite the uneven tone. Review
I love this doc and it’s definitely one of the most insightful and entertaining docs I’ve ever seen. A must-see for movie lovers everywhere, but even if you’re just a casual movie fan, watching this will make you appreciate there are so many below-the-line crew who can make or break a film. Review
While there are enjoyable moments and fun camaraderie between the old and new Ghostbusters, Frozen Empire barely has any of the spark of the original to justify its existence. Review
