The silly animation style works well with the highly unserious script to create a kids’ film that’s just pure fun. Review

The entire cast was great in their roles, and honestly, there’s a sense of fun to this that makes it highly rewatchable. Review

It’s refreshing, well-made, and a testament to Soderbergh’s continued brilliance behind the camera. Review

This is yet another shallow action flick with not enough meat on the bone to satisfy an audience. Review

The kind of comedy you’ve come to expect from Netflix—fast-paced action, with narrative structure and humor thrown right out the window. Review

This film is hilarious. I was completely on board with whatever it was trying to sell me. Review

Sure, it’s silly—and sometimes, you can have fun with silly—but Christian Gudegast just isn’t a particularly skilled director. This film suffers from the same issues as the first, except now it’s a French-soaked retread of the original. Review

This is a film that suffers from a lot of inconsistencies and sadly there was a lot of potential for this to be great. Lila Gueneau actually does really work here and she’s really the heart of the film in the way Night is the engine. Review

It’s as uneven as it gets. The performances are masterful, and the script is strong. Corbet clearly has a bright future behind the camera, and with this, he’s guaranteed that his next project will be whatever he wants it to be. That might not be a good thing. Someone should have reined in this damn runtime. Review

Immense. The emotion—immense. The consequences of a single action—immense. The storytelling—immense. There’s a profound weight to this story, and the young actors at its core do an incredible job of guiding us through it. Review

A tension-fueled step into real history. One of the things that truly sets this apart is the timer—everything seems to be happening in real time, and there’s nothing we, as the audience, can do. Review

This is a phenomenal thriller from start to finish. Nicholas Hoult is absolutely excellent here, and this is a low-key surprise as one of 2024’s best. Review

The goal of this film is simple: it wants you to laugh. It wants you to turn off your brain and just enjoy. And there’s plenty here to love. Review

Denzel is devilishly slick, delivering a performance with multiple layers. He keeps us guessing, making us flip-flop on our opinion of him throughout the film. Meanwhile, Paul Mescal is simply too talented to be in a film like this—one that lacks any real structural strength. Review

There are some great performances here. Jonathan Bailey is a scene-stealer. Ariana Grande, though not traditionally considered an excellent actress, delivers a phenomenal performance. Review

It’s pretentious, ill-informed nonsense coming from an arrogant director with an apathetic attitude toward the very culture he finds fascinating enough to make a film about. Review

Such a phenomenal picture—a film that truly feels like reality. In a story like this, the relationship between two people can make or break everything. Thankfully, Eisenberg and Culkin have amazing chemistry that grips us from start to finish. Review

I love feeling emotions; they’re usually what pull me through a film like this. But I wasn’t completely there with this one. I enjoyed it—it’s wonderfully acted and truly showcases the talent of its two leads. Review
