Zac Snyder’s glossy zombie flick is a valiant attempt, and it has its moments. The story neatly blends a zombie apocalypse with an Oceans heist movie. Mashing up the heist and Zombie concepts seems like a good idea in theory but in practice they are kept largely separate which creates a confused narrative with no clear focus on what it’s supposed to be about.
