Borat Subsequent Moviefilm is a decent watch for a few laughs. Review
There’s a unique vision on display here and the story being told is relevant, timely, and, ultimately, satisfying. Review
Though all of the pieces are here for a potential cult classic animated horror experience, Attack of the Demons falls just short. However, it’s still a film that horror fans are going to want to check out and gauge for themselves. Review
The film will make you laugh, gasp, and shake your head at times but it’s always entertaining. Review
It does feel like there’s a bit more to delve into here but, as it is, Marie is a short film that’s not to be forgotten. Review
Not only is Aaron Sorkin’s The Trial of the Chicago 7 a damn fine film but it’s also an overwhelmingly relevant one. Review
However you choose to interpret the film, Alone stands out as definitely one of the best thrillers of the year and in contention for one of the best of 2020 in general. Review
Di Nunzio’s direction and visual storytelling is a perfect complement to Salvi’s compelling stories. Review
Even with its issues, though, By Night’s End remains a well made and engaging thriller. There are parts that will drive you nuts but also those that will have you on the edge of your seat. Review
What Private really ends up being is a fun experiment. Conducting a one act play solely on and video conferencing application is a bold move but it pays off for Blackwood and company here. Review
To Your Last Death is a surprising horror themed project that not enough people are talking about. Given its uniqueness, artistry, and dedication, the film is one that could eventually turn into a cult classic. Review
The Devil All the Time is a great crime/drama/thriller and it’s too bad that it’s not getting the credit that it probably deserves. Review
Camera Test Subject is a completely satisfying, entertaining, and expertly made micro short film. The performance by Cox is superb and entirely fits the tone and mood that Meehan is going for with his script and visuals. Review
LX 2048 definitely has things to say even if they’re a bit muddled by a lot of extra plot. These things are the highlight of the film and can spark a lot of conversation as any good sci-fi film will do. Review
We Die Alone is a flawless horror/thriller that will leave you clamoring for more. Review
While there certainly is an air of spectacle in the decision to craft a film in such a way, Last Call is undoubtedly a brave and largely successful attempt at storytelling. Review
Despite its ugliness and somewhat lack of purpose, DTF is a spectacle. Review
It gets a bit long in the tooth in the second act but the first and third acts boast that certain ghastly intrigue that so many great psychological horror films do. Review
For those looking for something a little bit different and a little bit weird, give I’m Thinking of Ending Things a shot. Review
With some great performances, a clear vision, and natural filmmaking prowess, Rosson has worlds of potential going forward. Review
With all of its confusion, lengthy dialogue, and character issues, Tenet is still part of the reason people love going to the movie theater. It’s big, spectacular, and loud. Review
Bill & Ted Face the Music is exactly what it’s meant to be: entertainment. For fans of Excellent Adventure and Bogus Journey, you’ll feel right at home here. The film is a breeze to watch and is just pure joy from start to finish. Review
It’s not a bad film by any means and some B-movie/alien invasion fans are sure to like it. For those looking for something more in tone with Alien or District 9, you may be a little disappointed. Review
Soundtrack to Sixteen is a wonderful film debut for the Shakespeare sisters. From its fantastic cast to its storytelling and all the way to its technical aspects, the film shows a duo poised for great things. It’s a humorous, touching, relevant, and realistic look at teenage life. Review
