Some of the alien designs are pretty neat, as are a few of the sic-fi-infused settings, while Danny Elfman and Chris Bacon’s score is pretty great, as it captures adventurous spirit, emotional depth and fun re-jazzed takes on the established franchise riffs. It’s just a shame the actual narrative cannot measure up to the audio. Review
