Maar ook de overtuigende make-up en visuele effecten zorgen voor veel kijkplezier. Het is een bewuste keuze geweest om veelal in het donker te filmen, maar juist door de duistere scènes is het iets lastiger te volgen wat er precies gaande is en dat maakt de film een stuk enger.
