Na een ijzersterk begin weten de makers dit niveau niet vast te houden, sterker nog het script weet bij lange na niet het maximale uit het gegeven te halen. Hierdoor teert de film teveel op de prestaties van Vera Farmiga en Patrick Wilson als de Warrens. En hoewel beide weer sterk zijn is dat niet genoeg om van The Devil Made Me Do It een horrorfilm te maken welke bij zal blijven zoals dat bij het eerste deel wel het geval was. Lees meer
