Stephen Gaghan is keurig binnen de lijntjes gebleven terwijl de spannende momenten net niet eng genoeg zijn om de kleintjes slapeloze nachten te bezorgen. En dat terwijl er voor papa en mama ook genoeg te beleven is en vooral de droge humor voor het vermaak zorgt.

It is difficult to put into words just how bad Dolittle is. The experience of watching the film in a theater is mind-numbing, and the film reaches a point where it is almost impossible to decipher the visual stimuli that is going through your optic nerve.
