Zie het simpel als een soort vernuftigde Timecop of weet het te waarderen als een spionagefilm welke qua actie de bondfilms overtreft en qua intelligentie de kijkers uitdaagt om de clues te zien en te toetsen in hoeverre het tijdthema mee kan buigen met het verhaal. Nee, de personages springen niet in een vliegende auto die van het ene moment naar het andere moment in de tijdlijn springen, maar de unieke en realistische vorm van tijdreizen stelt de personages in Tenet wel in staat om in het verleden te handelen met de kennis die zij in de toekomst hebben opgedaan. Het staat buiten kijf dat het enorm interessant is.
